Houston TX, April 2023 - Thompson Safety, a leading provider of first aid, fire protection and safety services, has announced its acquisition of Protect IT, a fellow safety services company. This acquisition will allow Thompson Safety to expand its services and product offerings in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The acquisition of Protect IT will enable Thompson Safety to offer an even broader range of safety services to their customers including, fire protection, eyewash services, as well as a wide array of PPE. Additionally, the ProtectIT customers will have access to Thompson Safety's expanded geographic footprint, onsite and online safety training as well as access to new digital technology and ordering tools.

The merger will be finalized in the coming weeks with a full integration in the coming months. The Protect It service team will be folding into the local Dallas Thompson Safety office and will continue to provide all existing services to their customers.
