John has been our rep for the last 8 months and has provided stellar service keeping our safety / PPE program in compliance. He always suggests items that would be beneficial to our technicians and in-office employees. Both John and Wayland are quite thorough in the service they provide as a team. John Shillings has been servicing our facility for the past 6 months and his proactive approach has helped the facility’s safety tremendously. During Hurricane Beryl’s aftermath, he was able to stop in a provide us with the safety equipment we needed quickly. If you are a current or former customer, please be aware that this company is currently under investigation for using fraudulent fire extinguisher tags during annual inspections. Unlicensed service reps were using other people’s fire tags that they would give them to perform the inspections. Customers often times were told that all of the service reps were NPFA certified, so they could perform all duties including fire extinguisher annual inspections. This was under the pretense of “vendor consolidation”. This was unfortunately untrue potentially putting your company and your personnel at great risk and liability. Management was aware of and complicit in this, until only recently when a former employee brought it to the attention of the Fire Marshall. The corrective action that should be taken is to inform all customers and re-perform all annual fire extinguisher inspections done in the last 12 months, as Thompson has no way of verifying which jobs were performed with a licensed technician. If you choose to use them for your annual inspections moving forward, please be sure to verify the person performing the inspections identity and cross reference it with their fire tags to ensure the names match.

Such a great company. Such a great team. They are communicative, honest and really take the time to explain and help in every way they can. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 2 years.
I recently had taken over 2 new facilities from our parent company. I contacted Jake (who I found out is actually no longer in Houston) but that didn’t stop him in helping me find out who my rep was. Thank you as always Jake!
Within 20 minutes I had Reggie at my facility to help me. I was blown away. The next day Josh (who was my favorite rep at my old facility and was promotores) shows up with Austin. And they walked our facility and took the time to help me.
What I love most about this company is no matter how big, how busy, or if promoted, you can call for help and they will take the time to take care of you and make it happen.

Lionel Egbe keeps our business stocked. I was hesitant to make the switch but Lionel is easy to work with and takes great care of us. Friendly, but not verbose. It's a lost art. Give this man a raise!
