I contacted this company to come and certify our fire extinguishers at work before we had our annual fire inspection with the city. I contacted them on a Thursday, and they came out on Monday! Steve Rodgers was our technician and was amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Not only did he do the fire extinguishers, but he checked the exit signs and even re hung up a wall mount that fell out. If I could give him and this company 10 stars I would! I will definitely be adding them to our yearly maintenance here at the office.

Thompson Safety is a great company, easy to work with. Our rep Shaun is awesome. He tends to all our safety needs. He's pleasant and very personable and we enjoy his monthly visit.

If you are a current or former customer, please be aware that this company is currently under investigation for using fraudulent fire extinguisher tags during annual inspections. Unlicensed service reps were using other people’s fire tags that they would give them to perform the inspections. Customers often times were told that all of the service reps were NPFA certified, so they could perform all duties including fire extinguisher annual inspections. This was under the pretense of “vendor consolidation”. This was unfortunately untrue potentially putting your company and your personnel at great risk and liability. Management was aware of and complicit in this, until only recently when a former employee brought it to the attention of the Fire Marshall. The corrective action that should be taken is to inform all customers and re-perform all annual fire extinguisher inspections done in the last 12 months, as Thompson has no way of verifying which jobs were performed with a licensed technician. If you choose to use them for your annual inspections moving forward, please be sure to verify the person performing the inspections identity and cross reference it with their fire tags to ensure the names match.

Steve Rogers was the technician that came into our clinic to make sure everything was up to date and still working properly. He was very thorough and even showed some of the newer employees how to properly use the fire extinguisher. Steve was great and we would love to have him come to our clinic again!
